Nicola Douglas, Founder

I am a 52 year old loving wife and mother and have enjoyed a varied 30 year career working with all sorts of different companies, small and large, both full and part time.

I have reached that stage in life where I want to do something more personally rewarding and have always enjoyed the company of older people. They have such rich and interesting stories to tell but you need to find the time to hear them.

Frank & Frieda were my grandparents - pictured to the right with my family (I'm the coy looking one in the middle of the photo). They lived in Old Hunstanton, Norfolk and I have such fond memories of them – playing Mastermind and Racing Demon, doing puzzles, eating Baked Alaska, listening to WW2 tales and looking through old photos, picking home grown runner beans and strawberries, practising our golf putting in the living room and of course spending hours building sandcastles on the beach. 

I now live in Felsted with my husband and our little Cairn Terrier.  Our two children are grown up and it’s now time for me to channel my energy into something new - something that brings happiness into other people's lives.
